ABOUT ME

I am an independent software developer and I run a website called LogYourRun.com. I started programming when I was 15 (comal80, basic and C on my Comodore Amiga500).  During college (the dot com boom years) I worked part time at LondonTown.com – the best site for information about what is going on in London.  In 2000 I started on my PhD in neuroscience and soon started missing programming.  I taught myself cocoa but as a PhD student I was never able to afford a Mac for myself.  Instead I started my website LogYourRun.com which has been growing organically since 2006.  Part of the success has come through great user suggestions, getting onto the Facebook platform early, and now getting on the iPhone and other mobile devices.

In April 2009 I started on my first iPhone app since the iPhone has GPS and the iPod touch has the capabilities of a pedometer. Programming for the mac and for the iPhone is a great joy – the free developer tools that come with OSX are amazing.

I have released two different iPhone apps to date and have significant experience with the iPhone app approval process (rejected twice). I am always happy to help out with any issues or ideas – please use the contact form below.
